Healthcare IT and software provider Forecare B.V. will be facilitating a radiology information exchange network for the Amsterdam Regional HIE organization, between the Academic Medical Center, the OLVG Hospital and the Dutch National Cancer Institute “Antonie van Leeuwenhoek” in Amsterdam.

The exchange will allow for image and report data sharing between RIS and PACS applications within the Amsterdam hospitals by way of Forecares’ XDS-based products, including forIndex (XDS Registry), forStore (XDS Repository) and forAudit (IHE ATNA based Audit Repository), said the Zeist, Netherlands-based company.

Remaining Amsterdam hospitals will be connected to this network at a later date, said Forecare.
