Boom times for builders of imaging centers, other care facilities

New imaging centers are one of several categories of healthcare facility driving a construction boomlet. Health Facilities Management reported the development last winter. The trade outlet Construction Dive takes a fresh look at it now.

According to an architecture and engineering consultant quoted in the current article, the press is on to turn projects around posthaste so the builders’ healthcare clients can begin serving patients ASAP.

Site owners, design professionals and contractors are collaborating on business strategies as well as construction plans. “They’re working together,” the consultant adds, “to see how these buildings can be constructed as fast as possible.”
