With median annual pay of more than $300,000 and projected 10-year job growth of 15 percent, radiology ranks as one of the best career paths to pursue in the U.S.
So says CNN/Money in a list that places radiologist on a list of 100 jobs with “big growth, great pay and satisfying work.”
In fact, the outlet has the medical specialty in the top half, at #45.
“Being a strong collaborator is helpful, since the job often involves consulting with other doctors,” the description notes.
The editors give radiology an “A” for personal satisfaction, benefit to society and telecommuting. And they award it a solid “B” for low stress.
