Seimens Healthineers’s SOMATOM CT system gains FDA clearance

In an April 18 company release, Siemens Healthineers announced FDA approval for its COMATOM go.All and SOMATOM go.Top CT systems.

The 64-slice SOMATOM go.All has a 0.33-second rotation time, a Stellar detector and 75 kW generator. The 128-slice SOMATOM go.Top also has a large detector to deliver an acquisition speed up to 175 millimeters in a second.
