Radiology and health IT manufacturer Brainlab has entered a definitive agreement to acquire surgical IT company Voyant Health, the companies said June 6.

The acquisition by Westchester, Ill.-based Brainlab comes after a two-year partnership with Voyant, in which the two companies collaborated on imaging and surgical planning software. The merger will enable Brainlab to integrate and expand the companies’ orthopedic surgery navigation technology and online image access platforms. Voyant Health is based in Petach-Tikva, Israel, and produces software aimed at improving orthopedic surgery workflow.
