Centric Health has terminated its agreement to acquire Medical Imaging Centre.

In September 2011, Centric Health announced that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Medical Imaging Centre, which has approximately 18 centers throughout Canada, and certain business assets of the Toronoto-based Rads24 Teleradiology Consultants for $15 million in cash and up to $24.2 million in Centric Health common shares.

The Toronto-based company said that it terminated discussions on Dec. 28, 2011. According to its website, Centric Health claims to provide a community of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, physiotherapists, clinical rehab specialists, occupational therapists, pharmacists and wellness experts.
