Carestream lands $10M DoD PACS deal
Carestream Health has been awarded a maximum $10 million contract by the U.S. Department of Defense for PACS and related sub-systems and components.

The Carestream PACS platform can convert proprietary image data into a vendor-neutral format for data sharing among authorized users and facilities at remote locations, according to the Rochester, N.Y.-based company. Under the terms of the agreement, the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies can purchase the equipment.
