Pacsgear has reached an agreement with itMD, a medical image sharing company, in which itMD will participate in the Open Image Exchange and integrate with Pacsgear using the cross-enterprise document sharing profile.

Miami-based itMD said in a release that the open image exchange will improve imaging access for patients and physicians.
