Novarad releases digital mammography viewer

Novarad, the Salt Lake City-based healthcare technology company, has announced the release of its own specialty digital mammography viewer, NovaMG.

The new mammography viewer is native to the NovaPACS enterprise viewer, and is designed as an alternative to the Three Palm Software that the company has been distributing.

In a statement, Novarad said it will still offer integration between NovaPACS and Three Palm Software, but NovaMG will allow radiologists to read for all patients and all modalities from the same workstation and user interface.

NovaMG features advanced hanging protocols and workflows for both screening and diagnostic exams, added the company.

It is FDA-approved for sale in the U.S.
