Novarad unveils combined C-PACS, CVIIS
Novarad will debut NovaCardio, an integrated C-PACS image and cardiovascular image and information management system (CVIIS).

The NovaCardio workstation seeks to display large motion-based ultrasound and cineangiographic images at full spatial and temporal resolution, according to the company. The product supports echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, nuclear medicine and cardiac catheterization modalities and combines access for cardiology and radiology studies from the same application and workstation. Complete access to EMR, EHR, HIS, PACS and other HL7 and DICOM-complaint systems are provided, the American Fork, Utah-based company stated.

NovaCardio will be rolled out at the annual meeting of the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) in Washington, D.C. this week.
