Valley Presbyterian to install Carestream Vue PACS
Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif., has placed an order to upgrade its existing PACS to the latest version of Carestream’s Vue PACS.

With Vue PACS, radiologists have access to the global worklist, voice recognition, prior imaging exams and advanced reading tools regardless of location. Vue PACS also supports the Vue Motion web-based enterprise viewer, according to Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream.

Vue also will allow on-call radiologists at Valley Presbyterian to provide a final report for after-hours exams where previously they could only provide preliminary reports due to limited access to patient information and prior studies.
