Vital Images launches new ‘VNA on demand’ platform

Vital Images announced today the launch of VNA on demand, a “next generation vendor neutral platform” which will allow customers to store only desired images and control the process of image storage more efficiently, the company said in a press release.

The launch is part of an increased focus on enterprise informatics for the Minneapolis-based medical imaging and informatics company, according to Vital President and CEO Jim Litterer.

“We are excited to launch VNA on demand to the global marketplace,” Litterer said in the release. “From an enterprise informatics perspective at Vital, this is a necessary yet incremental step in our vision to provide unique solutions in enterprise interoperability, patient engagement, secure access to the patient’s complete health record and more.”

The new platform will be featured in Vital’s booth (732) at HIMSS 2016 in Las Vegas.
