Dilon launches molecular breast imaging camera
Dilon Diagnostics has launched its FDA-cleared Dilon 6800 Acella Gamma Camera system.
The new camera, which debuted last week at the annual meeting of SNM in San Antonio, will feature a large molecular breast imaging (MBI) detector.
According to Dilon, a Newport News, Va.-based manufacturer of medical imaging technology, the Acella Gamma Camera system will complement the company's 6800 standard field-of-view imaging system and its GammaLoc product, an FDA-approved biopsy guidance platform for MBI.
