International Isotopes aligns with LES for uranium de-conversion
International Isotopes has entered into an agreement with Louisiana Energy Services (LES), a wholly owned subsidiary of Urenco, to provide depleted uranium de-conversion services for LES's Urenco U.S. facility, located in Eunice, N.M.

Urenco U.S. facility expects to begin commercial enrichment operations this spring and the terms of the agreement extends for the first five years of International Isotopes’ operations of its planned uranium de-conversion facility.

International Isotopes said that LES will provide certain minimum volumes of depleted material for de-conversion with the option to process further material and the agreement is contingent upon International Isotopes' construction and planned start-up of the facility by the end of 2013.
