William Cavanagh has joined IsoRay as the vice president of research and development for IsoRay Medical, which produces the Cesium-131 brachytherapy seed

According to Richland, Wash.-based IsoRay, Cavanagh has a background in bringing medical products to market for the treatment of cancer and has served as chief scientific officer for Sangretech Biomedical and as the director of the Haakon Ragde Foundation for Advanced Cancer Studies.
