St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) has decided to make positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) technology a part of its clinical practice in the diagnosis of cancer. The Twin Falls, Idaho-based cancer center has deployed PET imaging services from Molecular Imaging Corp.

To date, more than 33,000 patients have been treated by the staff at St. Luke's MSTI. The facility serves approximately 250 patients each day with more than 2,000 new patients treated last year alone, 159 of which were children.

MSTI has clinics in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Twin Falls, Caldwell and Ontario, several Breast Cancer Detection Centers and mobile breast cancer detection services.
