Improved brain injury outcomes and mood go hand-in-hand

For patients who have suffered a brain injury, brain rehabilitation could be the key to putting a smile back on their faces. Researchers at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., have found a connection between improvements in mood over the course of post-acute brain rehabilitation and increased participation in regular activities.
