Campbell named new CEO of NIH Foundation
The board of directors of the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) has appointed Scott Campbell, PhD, as its new executive director and CEO.

Prior to his appointment, Campbell served as the national vice president of research programs at the American Diabetes Association, and he continues to serve as a senior consultant to the China-America Institute of Diabetic Complications in the School of Pharmacy at Wenzhou Medical College in Zhejiang, China, stated the FNIH.

Campbell will replace former executive director Amy Porter, who resigned in February, said the Bethesda, Md.-based foundation.
