Acacia Research’s Hospital Systems subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Siemens Medical Solutions.

The agreement covers a portfolio of patents that apply to medical PACS technology, according to the Newport Beach, Calif.-based company.

Acacia Research's subsidiaries, which develop, acquire and license patented technologies, control 94 patent portfolios, including U.S. patents and certain foreign counterparts, covering technologies in a variety of industries.
