Agfa and Adventist ink $35 million contract
Agfa HealthCare has signed a second, five-year agreement to provide Enterprise PACS technology for the Florida Division of Adventist Health System (AHS) in Orlando.

The new $35 million, five-year agreement covers all 17 Adventist Health hospitals in the Florida Division, as well as its seven outpatient centers and the centralized data center.

The agreement will also ensure the delivery of Agfa’s DX-S units, CR 35-X and CR 85-X systems, MUSICA_, IMPAX for Orthopaedics, and archive systems.

Agfa stated that the arrangement also enables AHS to expand its data center, which will archive all the diagnostic images for its Florida Division, including mammography and cardiology images.
