Alabama health system acquires 25 DICOM units from Foresight Imaging
Baptist Health System of Birmingham, Ala., has installed 25 TIMS DICOM Systems from Foresight Imaging, an developer of imaging devices, in its various hospitals.
Baptist Health consists of five hospitals throughout Alabama. Baptist Health houses about 1,770 beds, and employs approximately 1,500 physicians and 5,000 staff members.
The Lowell, Mass.-based Foresight Imaging said the TIMS DICOM installation ensures Baptist Health that its system has the ability to acquire from any medical modality and the ability to acquire from both static and motion video modalities, including long formats such as speech pathology.
