AMS nets 11 PACS orders last month

American Medical Sales (AMS) received orders for another 11 PACS sites from its distributor network during March.

The company said the orders include: Cerritos Medical Center in Cerritos, Calif., Ellsworth Medical Center in Ellsworth, Wis.; Hammond Clinic in Munster, Ind.; Hunterdon Orthopedic Group in Fleminton, N.J.; Innovative Orthopedics in Plantation, Fla.; Liberty Clinic in Liberty, Texas; Rodger Veterinary Center in Houston; Tidewater Community College in Norfolk, Va.; and Utah State Department of Corrections in Draper, Utah.

AMS said that the March orders consist of products from both its MIDAS line of mid-sized PACS solutions and its PACS-in-a-Box products designed for private practices and imaging centers. In addition, a number of end-users are upgrading to include some of its imaging tools, such as the OsteoGram bone density testing software and TraumaCad orthopedic templating software, according to the Hawthorne, Calif.-based company.
