Barnes-Jewish Hospital selects iMDsoft
Barnes-Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, has deployed iMDsoft’s MetaVision anesthesia information management system (MV-OR) across 66 operating rooms and 102 preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit beds.

The Needham, Mass.-based iMDsoft said its MetaVision Suite of clinical information systems for critical care and perioperative environments assists clinicians by automating workflow and documentation. It features fully-integrated tools for data collection, presentation, and order management across the acute care continuum, iMDsoft said. The company also said its MV-OR provides comprehensive support for the entire perioperative process (pre-op, intra-op and post-op).

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is a member of BJC HealthCare, which provides a full range of healthcare services through its 13 hospitals and more than 100 healthcare sites in Missouri and Illinois. Barnes-Jewish Hospital also employs 1,700 medical staff members.
