Cardiocom secures contract for home telehealth devices
The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) has awarded Cardiocom one of six national contracts for home telehealth devices and services.

Cardiocom will supply the VA with its telehealth products and services portfolio, which includes its Commander Home Telehealth Monitoring System, Interactive Voice Response System and Omnivisor Patient Management Software.

Cardiocom's Commander device and measurement tools, including weight scale, blood pressure and pulse oximeter, will be used to transmit patients' vital signs and symptom data from their homes. Cardiocom's interactive voice response system offers an additional option for patients to communicate health status data with VA clinicians using their own standard telephone or cellular phone. Cardiocom's Omnivisor patient management software provides VA care coordinators the ability to monitor patients with home devices or voice response inputs from a single software platform to determine if the patient requires additional medical care.
