Dec. 6 – CareSpark has chosen Wellogic, a physician portal and electronic medical records software company, to provide a unified view of patient data exchanged via CareSpark’s health information exchange and connected electronic health records systems, using Wellogic’s Consult physician portal.

The non-profit regional health information organization, which serves northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia, said the deployment will unify access to patient information via IHE-compatible electronic medical records and electronic health records systems, while also utilizing more traditional interfaces to connect to those not yet IHE-enabled.
