Carestream nets DR, CR orders for Illinois imaging center
Springfield Clinic of Springfield, Ill., has ordered two Kodak Directview DR 7500 systems and two Kodak Directview CR 975/825 systems from Carestream Health.

The dual-detector DR 7500 will be configured in the clinic’s imaging center with both a wall stand and a flexible, pedestal table, according to Carestream. The upright detector will be positioned behind the table for expedite cross-table lateral exams. The single-detector DR 7500 will be equipped with a mobile table. The CR 975 and CR 825 systems will primarily be used for fluoroscopy and long-length exams.

The company said its Kodak Directview 6800 laser imager is also being installed to output general radiography and digital mammography exams onto radiographic film, and a Kodak LS75 film digitizer will convert general radiography films into digital format as needed.

The physician-owned outpatient imaging center serves 75 physicians and an onsite clinic that operates year-round. The center performs more than 15,000 x-ray exams annually.
