Merge Technologies this week announced that the Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), a chain of 33 imaging centers with locations in Minnesota, Florida, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Washington, has purchased Cedara PET/CT software from Merge eMed for use in its imaging centers.

According to Merge, its partnership with CDI which began in 2003 with a RIS/PACS installation has expanded as a result of the recent merger of Merge and Cedara Software and the increased clinical offerings that are now available to customers.

Cedara Software's visualization and clinical application software products for various clinical specialties include orthopedics, breast imaging, nuclear medicine, oncology, and obstetrics.
