Contracts for Aurora, CentarisOne, Misys, Varian
UMass Memorial Health Care announced that it will install the 1.5T Dedicated Breast MRI System from Aurora Imaging Technology at its center in Worcester, Mass.

CentarisOne has completed an install at Tower Imaging Medical Group’s three imaging sites within Los Angeles for the implementation of a common RIS across their enterprise. The CentarisOne's workflow dash-board allows users to easily identify patient examination statuses or tasks to be performed and ensure that no activity is incomplete, meaning no more missed reports or billing.  The integrated workflow manager is used on each patient to track tasks such as; pending pre-certifications, prior labs, confirmations calls and more to cover all the tasks in the daily operational workflow.  Image dashboard lights can even identify if the technologist has forgotten to send the study from the modality to the PACS for reporting.

Misys Healthcare Systems will deliver a comprehensive EHR system for Daughters of Charity Health System (DCHS), a California regional healthcare system. The significant multi-million dollar partnership will provide a core clinical system for DCHS operations to assist the organization in its mission to provide safe patient care and quality outcomes. Ultimately, DCHS will have an integrated healthcare IT platform serving all clinicians.

The Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India, is acquiring the country's first Trilogy machine from Varian Medical Systems to be installed late next year. Using the Trilogy accelerator, doctors at the hospital will be able to offer cancer patients more precise treatments, including image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT) as well as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
