Del subsidiary nets digital radiography installs in Rome
Villa Sistemi Medicali, a subsidiary of Del Global Technologies, has installed its new Apollo DRF system at two hospitals in Rome.

Both installations were carried out in cooperation with Villa's local partner, Trade Art 2000. One system now resides at Policlinico Umberto I, the largest hospital in the city and part of La Sapienza University. The second system is located at Fatebenefratelli Isola Tiberina hospital, a religious institution that provides health services, according to the Franklin Park, Ill.-based Del.

Apollo DRF is a digital radiography system that matches the flexibility of a remote controlled RF table with a new dynamic flat panel detector. According to the patient workload requirements, it is possible to switch from general radiographic studies to high-volume chest exams, trauma exams, or contrast studies such as GI, urological and vascular investigations, the company said.
