eHealth Global Technologies has signed contracts with three medical centers to provide its eHealthConnect service to departments within the healthcare systems.

The Rochester, N.Y.-based company said its eHealthConnect service provides medical records and imaging study collection by eHealth Global’s clinical customer support team for patients that are referred to the facilities. The records and images are then digitized and made accessible over its internet-based viewing system, eHealth said.

The contracts include:

• Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, a nonprofit, academic medical center encompasses a 613-bed hospital;
• University of California, San Diego Medical Center in San Diego, includes two hospitals for a combined 531 beds; and
• University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, based in Minneapolis, includes seven hospitals, 50 primary care clinics, 37 specialty clinics and five urgent care clinics across Minnesota.
