eHGT adds to customer roster
Medical record service provider eHealth Global Technologies (eHGT) of Rochester, N.Y., reported that it has signed contracts with the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Va.; The Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb.; and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia to provide its eHealthConnect service.

The eHealthConnect service provides medical records and imaging study collection by eHealth Global’s clinical support team. The records and images are then digitized and made accessible over eHealth Global’s Internet-based viewing system.

The University of Virginia Health Systems’ lung, kidney, heart and liver transplant departments have contracted to use the service as well as the kidney transplant units at The Nebraska Medical Center and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network.

The transplant programs will utilize the system to gather prior patient pathology, lab and radiology reports and images to support the process for patient organ transplantation listing, according to eHGT.
