Facility acquires new GE, all-digital technology to detect, diagnose and treat heart disease
Memorial Regional Medical Center, a member of Bon Secours Richmond Health System, is the first U.S. hospital to install GE Healthcare's versatile new cardiovascular and interventional imaging system that gives doctors enhanced capabilities in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.

The GE Innova 2100IQ is an all-digital system that helps cardiologists clearly see the blood vessels and anatomy throughout the heart and the entire body, down to the smallest, finest vessels. Used in the cardiac cath lab, the system is used to perform diagnostic procedures and to treat potential coronary artery blockages. The detailed images allow physicians to see clearly enough to maneuver very small medical devices during procedures such as angioplasty and vascular intervention.
