German Hospital chooses Sectra PACS
The Dusseldorf University Hospital in Germany has signed a multi-year contract with Sectra for its PACS products and services.
Under the five-year partner agreement, Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra will supply PACS products as well as provide direct service and support. The diagnostic imaging operations at the Dusseldorf University Hospital are distributed throughout five locations across the hospital campus, including the neuroradiology and pediatric radiology departments, a breast cancer center and radiology units for surgical and conservative disciplines.
The 1,100-bed Dusseldorf University Hospital consists of 29 clinics and 30 medical institutes. In 2006, it received approximately 42,000 inpatients and 300,000 outpatients.
