Kodak touts sales of image and information management systems for oncology
Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group says it is doing well in the oncology arena, having received a number of orders for image and information management systems.

At the top of the list are industry-leading oncology treatment facilities such as The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, in Houston, Texas, which has ordered five 2000RT CR Plus Systems in the past six months, with six 2000RT CR Plus already in place); and Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Schaumburg, Ill., which has recently placed an order for a the company's DIRECTVIEW PACS System 5 and Kodak CARESTREAM Hosted Information Management Services at its Midwestern Regional Medical Center.
   
Other highlighted purchases:
  • St. Mary's Health System Cancer Center, Knoxville, Tenn., ordered a second Kodak 2000RT CR Plus system for its new imaging center;
  • Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, N.C., ordered a Kodak 2000RT CR Plus system to bring digital imaging to one of its cancer treatment rooms; and
  • Northside Hospital Cancer Center, Atlanta, Ga., purchased a Kodak 2000RT CR Plus system for use at its outpatient center in Roswell, Ga.
