Konica nets CR contract from South Dakota health system
Konica Minolta Medical Imaging has earned a five year, sole-source contract for CR systems from Sanford Health, in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The contract includes Konica’s Regius Xpress CR and Regius Nano CR systems for deployment throughout Sanford Health’s 150 healthcare facilities, which include the main tertiary hospital, Sanford USD Medical Center, five centers and Sanford Children’s Hospital, the Wayne, N.J.-based company said.

Under the terms of the agreement, Konica said that Sanford Health will replace upwards of 20 existing CR systems in its facility with plans to purchase approximately 30 additional CR units over the lifetime of the contract.

Sanford Health’s system includes more than 360 physicians in 115 clinics, 23 hospitals, 13 nursing homes, 17 assisted living facilities and congregate living locations, 32 home health services and 19 pharmacies.
