Speech recognition technology provider MedQuist of Mount Laurel, N.J., said that Radiological Group of Jackson, Miss., has selected its SpeechQ for Radiology as a front-end automated speech recognition system.

Radiological Group includes 12 radiologists who serve two imaging centers owned by the practice; an imaging center not owned by the group; and Baptist Medical Center, a 611-bed hospital in Jackson -- as well as interpreting numerous other images sent to them by ambulatory clinics and physician offices in the area, according to MedQuist.
