Radiologix Inc. has awarded a contract to Merge eFilm to help its Northeast operations integrate onto one RIS/PACS platform.

Radiologix will migrate its Northeast operations from separate image transfer and information systems to Merge's Fusion RIS/PACS system, which will automate clinical and business workflows. Radiologix also has the option to purchase additional licenses for the Fusion RIS/PACS system for its other operations, said Merge.

"Having our Northeast operations integrated onto one RIS/PACS platform will enhance our workflow, simplify medical and business processes, and accelerate productivity," said Sami Abbasi, Executive VP/COO of Radiologix.
