Nashville imaging center upgrades site, installs GE MR
Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Nashville has updated its facility, which included interior renovations and the installation of GE MRI equipment.

The renovations included new carpet and paint to the facility, along with an expanded waiting room, an upgraded front desk and registration areas and a complete reconstruction of the MRI suite. Patients can now be scanned in a cooler environment with the ability to play music during the exam, according to the center.

Outpatient Diagnostic Center installed the GE Optima 450W high-field, wide bore system, featuring a bore width of 70 cm rather than the 60 cm bore of  conventional high-field magnet systems.
