Neurostar hits sales century mark for first half of 2007
PACS provider Neurostar Solutions reported that more than 100 sites have selected the Atlanta-based firm’s Virtual Radiology Network (VRN) PACS for the management and archiving of medical images during the first six months of 2007.

The VRN pulls images from existing imaging modalities and PACS at multiple locations through an integrated network of on- and off-site servers and makes them available to authorized users through integrated worklists, streamlining image access and management. For sites that do not have a PACS, the application service provider (ASP)-based VRN provides an alternative to a traditional PACS.

Facilities that have implemented Neurostar’s VRN product from January to June this year include: 19 installations in Alabama, 17 in Georgia, 11 in West Virginia, 8 in Missouri, 4 in Arizona, 4 in California, and 42 sites in 20 additional states.
