Several hundred Kiwi radiology workers have joined with their emergency-department colleagues to model healthy behavior for patients by taking up a 100-day exercise challenge.
In fact, they’re not only working (out) together but having a friendly competition as they go. To the winners will go bragging rights and a trophy whose beauty must be seen to be appreciated.
“It’s heartwarming to see that and it's so much happier at work,” one of the physician organizers tells Stuff, the New Zealand news outlet. “People look after each other better when they care a bit more about each other and, without a doubt, that crosses over into better patient care.”
