N.H. hospital deploys Voalt
Nurses and other point-of-care workers at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H., will soon be using iPhones to interact using Voalté’s mobile communication tool.

The Voalté installation will leverage the hospital's existing PBX and WiFi infrastructure and consolidate voice, alarm and text on the iPhone platform, enabling nurses and clinicians at the 87-bed acute care community hospital to send and receive text messages and make calls over the hospital VoIP system, the Sarasota, Fla.-based company stated.

Frisbie Memorial is the first acute care hospital in the Northeast to implement the Voalté system and the fourth hospital in the country, according to Voalté.
