St. Francis Cardiac & Vascular Care Center, part of Indiana's St. Francis Hospital and Health Centers, has awarded a multi-year contract to Philips Medical Systems to upgrade its cardiovascular services with Philips's newest offerings and technologies.
   
As part of a multi-year strategic technology agreement with St. Francis, Philips said it will install several cardiac applications, bedside monitoring and diagnostic ultrasound systems, including a Live 3D Echo machine used to visualize difficult to read anatomy in a three-dimensional format, as well as assess valve function.  
   
The full-service cardiac and vascular care center will be located at the St. Francis Indianapolis campus on the area's Southside.
