Philips wins $38M DR contract with Ascent Profit
Royal Philips Electronics and Ascent Profit, a leading Chinese medical equipment wholesaler, today announced that they have signed a $38.5 million (€25 million) contract to bring digital radiography (DR) systems to hospitals in China.
This is the continuation of a similar agreement made in 2007 and will enable hospitals across the country to benefit from advanced imaging capabilities and the efficiency of digital workflows, Philips said.
Through the agreement with Ascent Profit, Chinese healthcare facilities have access to advanced Philips digital radiography solutions, allowing them to take full faster image information, time savings through digital integration and cost reduction through improved workflows and increased patient throughput.
