Diagnostic imaging system developer Sectra said it has been selected as the PACS product and service provider for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC). The HHC is the largest municipal healthcare system in the United States, according to the Linkoping, Sweden-based Sectra.

Through the five-year agreement, Sectra will supply PACS products as well as deliver direct service and support to Bellevue Hospital Center, King's County Hospital, Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, Harlem Hospital Center, and the Metropolitan Hospital. Together, these hospitals perform approximately 700,000 radiology examinations annually, Sectra said.
