syngo Dynamics: Graphical reporting element to produce coronary tree diagrams

Siemens Healthcare (Booth 922) is featuring the new version v70 of its syngo Imaging XS PACS product, enhancements to its syngo Dynamics cardiology PACS, improvements to the company’s version V35 of syngo Imaging, and a comprehensive package for diagnostic imaging centers in the United States.

The new version V70 of syngo Imaging XS PACS combines features for reading, planning exams, and reporting with ease of installation, use and expansion. The newest iteration also includes 3D visualization applications.

The version V35 of syngo Imaging is featuring utility improvements in stability, scalability and configurability, Siemens says. The V35 is bundled with enhanced support functionality for the transition from Siemens Magic PACS (the legacy Siemens PACS solution) to the new syngo Imaging PACS, Prior Handling / Multi-Patient Handling, as well as support of syngo MammoReport and syngo Expert-I.

Also supported by both versions is the combination of separate computer-aided detection (CAD) and advanced imaging solutions with a PACS viewing workstation. These intelligent post-processing applications help improve diagnostic confidence and are geared toward workflow enhancement, Siemens says.

The company’s syngo Dynamics cardiology PACS is being demonstrated to showcase the newest features of version 7.0. These include immediate data transfer between Siemens AXIOM Sensis XP hemodynamics monitoring systems and the syngo Dynamics reporting and image management solution and the capability to incorporate data from GE Healthcare’s MacLab v6.5 Hemodynamic system to support a multi-vendor environment.

In addition, the latest version introduces a graphical reporting element to produce coronary tree diagrams, which allows clinicians to rapidly build a representation and text of the diagnostic results and summary of any interventions performed. A new 17-segment wall-scoring model to match the most current clinical standards also is being spotlighted.

The company is unveiling its syngo Suite Essential, a comprehensive IT solution consisting of preconfigured software, hardware and services for U.S.-based diagnostic imaging centers. syngo Suite Essential uses industry leading hardware, software, storage, and network technology to create a comprehensive workflow solution. Because it is pre-configured and modular, it requires no large capital investment and can be tailored for a practice’s service lines, helping to increase return on investment, according to Siemens. Training is conducted through live interactive online sessions, and full system administration is supported continuously by a dedicated Siemens support team.
