Siemens Soarian live at Brookhaven
Siemens Medical Solutions reported that the 321-bed Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center of East Patchogue, N.Y., has implemented its Soarian Clinical healthcare information system. The facility is the first in the New York City area to deploy the system, according to the Malvern, Pa.-based Siemens.
The Soarian Clinical suite of products allows the Brookhaven medical staff to access an electronic patient record, including images and test results, from any workstation within the hospital, or a home or office computer, Siemens said.
In addition to the Soarian Clinical suite, the facility has also previously installed Siemens Med Administration Check, Siemens Pharmacy, and is adding Soarian computerized physician order entry functionality, the company said.
