Tenet Healthcare will be implementing Cerner Corporation health IT technology to help the health system boost its clinical information system capabilities and qualify for incentives under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.

According to Tenet, Cerner Millennium solutions will be used at 47 of the health system's 49 hospitals across nine states, allowing clinicians to assess a patient’s EHR, use computerized provider order entry (CPOE) for communication and reduce medication errors.
