ThinAir Data’s TeleRIS, a RIS built to address the reporting and workflow challenges of reading for multiple contracts and facilities, chalked up three installs in the first quarter of 2008.

The installations took place in the following facilities:

• Summit Teleradiology in Ft. Wayne, Ind.;
• Foundation Radiology in Pittsburgh; and
• United Teleradiology in Orlando, Fla.

TeleRIS is designed for facilities and radiology groups looking to grow their businesses by servicing multiple contracts, according to the Los Angeles-based ThinAir.

The company said that TeleRIS is used to centralize the reading responsibilities of large radiology groups, so radiologists can use a single RIS and reporting solution. TeleRIS offers the radiologist a ‘single sign-on’ environment, launching all required systems and tools with the click of the mouse.
