Toshiba nets Tennessee CT install
Diagnostic imaging modality developer Toshiba America Medical Systems reported that East Tennessee Children's Hospital has installed two of its Aquilion CT systems; one 16-slice and one 64-slice.
The pediatric specialty facility in Knoxville, Tenn., said it selected Toshiba’s Aquilion CT line because of its contrast resolution technology that allows for low-dose scanning quick image capture.
East Tennessee Children's Hospital will use its new Aquilion 16- and 64-slice systems for general radiology, according to the Tustin, Calif.-based Toshiba.
