In an effort to boost its sales of cancer treatment devices in Japan, Elekta has signed a sales and marketing agreement with Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation in Japan.

Stockholm-based Elekta, which produces devices and products for treating cancer and brain disorders, will manage the sales and marketing partnership with Toshiba. Under the agreement, Tokyo-based Toshiba will sell Elekta's radiotherapy products to clinical customers in Japan.
